Where are you located?
I live in Eudora, Kansas. You can think of it as Lawrence’s backyard. I primarily serve communities surrounding Kansas City and Lawrence, but I love to travel! I am even passport ready!

What do you photograph?
My primary focus is weddings, but I absolutely love portrait photography. That being said, I am open to discuss other photography needs!

What’s your photography style?
No matter what I’m photographing, my style is authentic and natural. I want to capture your true laugh, your dancing to your favorite song, your sweet kisses with your favorite human, your belly rubs for your dog, the look on your face when you drink your first sip of coffee. For wedding photography, the style I strive for is bright and clean.

Do you offer prints or albums?
As of right now, I am completely digital. When you receive your gallery, you have full printing rights to create prints and albums at your leisure. I am happy to send you my recommendations for high quality prints at a reasonable price.

Do you have a contract?
Absolutely I do. I do not operate without one, as should all professionals. It keeps you and me safe and gives clear communication about the session and what to expect!

How do I book you?
Such an exciting question to ask! I consider you “in the books” with a 25% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract. After that, it’s official! WOOP WOOP! Dates are booked first come, first serve.

Do you book more than one wedding in a day?
Whoa, you’re making me sweat here. MULTIPLE weddings? I would never be able to give you the attention you deserve! When your wedding day is booked with me, you are my ONLY couple that day!

Can I bring my pet to a session?
ABSOLUTELY YOU CAN. I love animals! That being said, we will definitely have to talk about details. Your furry friend deserves to be comfortable just like you!

Should we have an engagement session?
You? Not have an engagement session? A CRIME. Do you understand what that means? First of all, no pretty photos! Selfies don’t cut it, folks. Secondly, you won’t get to see me as a photographer or have an idea of what it will be like on your wedding day. I know I’m awesome, I want to make sure you know that too before your wedding day. Engagement shoots are a fun way to step away from the wedding planning and are laid-back. Most importantly, I get to tell you lame jokes. Short answer? Yes! You should have an engagement session.

Should we have a second photographer at the wedding?
A second photographer is never a bad idea, ever. Not only does a second photographer take photos from another perspective, but also helps the day run smoothly with maintaining the shot list and assisting with gear. That being said, I’d be happy to talk about options if your budget cannot cover a second shooter. My 10 and 12 hour packages include a second shooter.

Do you share RAW photos?
When you invest in a session or package with me, the editing is included. RAW or unedited photos will not be shared under any circumstances. It’s like accidentally stepping into a Disney World dressing room while Tinker Bell is putting on her wig – it’s not what you paid for.

What should I bring to my session?
The best thing you can do is make sure you’re comfortable. If that means snacks, water, a second pair of shoes to walk in, or your favorite Spotify playlist, bring it!

What happens when the weather conditions are poor?
If it’s your wedding day, unless we’ve got ourselves a ‘nado (midwest probs), I’m there. For sessions that can be rescheduled, we can discuss a Plan B. Most conditions are fine to take photos in and most rescheduling will be done during extreme conditions.

Do you photograph elopements or vow renewals?
YES AND YES! I’d love to document your intimate event. Please contact me to craft the perfect package to fit your day.

Do you have backup gear?
Yes! I always have at least two camera bodies and multiple lenses. I also happen to have my emergency kit from my wedding day. Need a mini sewing kit or band-aid? I got you.
